Risk assessment

Risk assessment -Day 1

This is our first risk assessment for filming at Great Baddow Rec. We made sure we thought of all the risks that could happen so we was safe in filming at the location. As it was wet on the floor and a bit muddy we made sure we was careful around the area. None of the risk occurred durning filming.

This is our second risk assessment for the changing room scene. There weren't that many big danger that could happen in the changing room

Group Images

Images

These are shots of our day filming in the park. We have looking at the shot we have done to see if they are good enough. There are images of the planning getting the idea and having a group decision. Giving each of our opinions to get the best idea out at the end. We have images of setting the tripod and the shot angles up to see what looks best.

Location

Location
We have planned in advance where we were going to film.
Location is very important as it adds to the Mise en Scene.
We decided to use this location as it is easily accessible for all of our group as it is nearby the school. Also it is perfect as it has a thin concrete path flowing through the large amounts of grass where we needed our actor to walk through.
Finally there are football goals in the park and makes the flat football in the park realistic.

Another location is in the changing room.

This is very easy for us as it is at the school so is easily accessible for everyone in the group. Also it is accessible for other actors we need to include in the film.
The changing room we are going to use is large and allows a lot of potential of including a variety of shots.

Music-Film Opening

Music
The music we are going to use is going to be quite slow and emotive however we want it to build up into a climax when the character walks out onto the pitch. Piano and String music will be very good for this opening. Here are some of the kinds of music we are going to look into using. Occasional silences may also be effective in showing emotion; silence can make moments more poignant.

This piece builds very well but i think that there are too many instruments in it. We want the music to be extremely stripped down so there is only one or two instruments, this will make it sound more personal therefore being more emotional.

I think this piece will be perfect for the part at the beginning but it doesn't have much of a climax therefore it won't work as well at the end of the scene. The piece uses piano, which is an extremely good instrument for showing emotion, which is why it will work well for the beginning of our opening.

Worms eye view of the bottom of characters’ legs. It is a handheld shot, walking forward and it tilts up the character staying the same angle. As the character walks away he becomes a long shot with his whole body in the shot.

First in the changing room we will have the younger version of the character in the opening scene showing that that is him. It will go from and close up to a medium shot of the players.

We will have a tracking shot in the changing room showing the players getting ready.

We have a tilting shot showing the changing room and up the players. This will set the new scene and get all the charters into play.

There will be a shot of a couple of shirts hung up on the hangers. This will last for 2-4 seconds. it will be at an angle to the wall and pan slowing revealing more shirts.

We will have a worms eye view of people doing up boots and putting them on. This will track across a few people also showing shin pads and socks.

Close up of back of shirt. Will have the same number as the person we are basing the film on.
