Sound

Sound
Synchronous sounds
These are sounds that you see then you hear them. For example you see a phone ring you hear the phone ring. You see footsteps you hear footsteps.
Sound Bridges
This is a sound that links two scenes together when it changes a place. There was an alarm sound in the song that grew louder then cut to an alarm in the morning bridging the two scenes together.
Ambient Sound
the sound that creates atmosphere. for example if you at the sea you will hear the waves crashing/sea gulls/wind. This sound you don't really think about too much but it is there creating a better image in your head. If you are in a park you will hear voices/cars/trees rustling.
Voice over
This is mostly used in documentary/romantic films/kids films. The voice is usually deep and powerful to really stand out and get into the audiences head.

Symphonic-orchestra
Melody- distinctive tune
Atonal- established key
